Default RE: are kill shots really necessary?

I want to see the deer go down, or how the deer reacts after the shot. It gives me a sense on the impact of the bullet or arrow, and what kind of hit, because during the shot, everything is so quick, and I just see where I thought I hit it rather than where I know I hit it. And there's just something about arrowing one and watching him crash, just a rush for me.
