I want all the oomph I can get, at that point.
I guess that is where we differ, I want all the KE I can get
and shoot accuratly.
My ROSS is set at 75lbs
My arrow weight was close to 500 grains. I was shooting 72 ft lb. My next bow will max out at 60 pounds. With how sharp broadheads are it really has changed Quick. I use Montecs and they were not as sharp as other brands. Why I shot what I did. I have switch to strikers and they are scary sharp. I would have no issues shooting a deer with a 50# recurve with a 600 grain arrow and a striker on it.
