You need to determine your maximum effective HUNTING distance. So put on your hunting clothes, screw in the broadheads you plan on hunting with, climb up into the treestand you plan to hunt from, in the woods you plan to hunt in, and have somebody randomly place a 3d target at various UNKNOWN distances from 5 yards all the way up to 50 yards.
