Well if you have unethical hunters around i would take that buck if he was under my stand...I know how it is to have people like that around and sometimes that will be a trophy buck in that area because other hunters are taking all the bucks out before they have time to mature.
.... and I wonder WHY there won't be any big bucks around in certain areas when folks like you suggestto "kill 'em before someone else does!" ???

Bottomline is that NO imamature buck should really be killed in the first place. If there isn't a very good chance that the buck will survive, it's still a LOT better chance than if YOU kill 'em now!

Ido know one thing Corn Fed, if everyone elseis busy shooting the little bucks. They are not waiting for the good ones, they will be there for the ones that want them.That is a good thing inoneway.
