You couldn't get a climber in 9 out of 10 trees on most of the tracts I hunt so I certainly have to worry about spending the extra money for one. I'd opt for the more versatile hang-on stand.

However, if your choice is between buying another stand or getting a LRF,.... I'd opt for the rangefind EVERYTIME! A LRF is one of THE most important pieces of equipment I've ever owned and is actually one of the only accessoriesthat I'd actually turn the truck around for IF I even forgot!
