younggun...stock came on the gun brand new...looks like the SPS stock..by they only show black on the site.

i dont mind the heavy barrel...its HEAVY....but i didnt buy the rifle for walkin...i bought her for what you see in the pic...sitting on the bipod waitin for a chuck to show up...the long heavy barrel keeps me reallllly steady. i like it...i dont usually walk more than 50-100yds with it. i can always find me a farmer road im allowed to drive on...i carry to much stuff chuck hunting...binocs, electronic earmuffs, rifle, shells, something to lay on, fluids to keep me hydrated in the hot sun, camera etc....i have my arms full

you guys dont have groundhogs in TN??? no hay or alfalpha fields??? we got lotttts of woods here...but alot of farmland too..and thats where youll find the groundhogs..farmers love the groundhog hunter. their holes can be large and numerous. they eat more crop than you would think. livestock can break their legs on the holes, can break equiptment on the holes etc etc....us groundhog shooters are accepted on dang near any farm...pretty fun time too
