Unfortunately, this is one area I have a little experience with I have shot and had deer go about their business as if they heard nothing, and I have taken shots where they reacted to the sound of the arrow hitting brush, etc but not react to the source (i.e. me shooting.) Typically, they look to see what the noise is, and they don't see anything out of the ordinary and just keep going about their business.
