I don't know, usually, more than one deer will enter a field, and you sorta' pick the best one you can find, I guess, can't say for sure, though, since I have only hunted late season and got skunked.

I do know that on opening day ofSpring Turkey season, we shoot anything with a beard, because we really don't have a reason to be picky, we just want to not get blanked out the whole season. Just wantto killsomething, and maybe get picky from there, but with Turkey Season, it's kinda' more like shooting any Tom,will bring more turkeys in, since it'll be one less dominant turkey warding off all the others, so after the Tom is shot, others will come and fight overhis harem, and his territory.
