A well selected ambush location based on strategy, decided upon by extensive scouting and by simply doing your homework will always be the consistently productive tactic. It's more work but the pay off means sooooo much more when you've earned it!

Forced movement is a game of luck, throwing shots and often times more wounded deer than anyone should EVER need to deal with! Thankfully it's a quickly dieing tactic in my area. A few ol' timers still try it but gone are the days of the large groups and dozens of shots fired as the deer run the gauntlets!Thank God! [:@]

Bingo. I won't hunt where people are doing drives.
