I suppose which is favorite depends both on the individual and the terrain you are hunting. The areas I hunt are real thick. I like to get deep into the bush to intercept them on their way back or to the bedding areas. Therefore for me using a treestand is far more effective. The big plus about stand hunting is that it is very peaceful and it gives me lots of time to contemplate everything in life as well as sitting quietly enjoying the nature that is around me. I have been on some successful drives but I prefer the peacefulness of stand hunting.
