i think, it depend where you put your tree-stand...

If you put your tree-stand in a tree, which you can see the deer drive, and always hunt with a good wind can give you some nice deers. Everything is depending of the area, the trees species, the density of the vegetation.. etc.

I think that deer drives gives more opportunity if you hunt with a good wind, but what do you mean with tree-stand? Hunting with feeder?
