Your most valuable tool is a plat book containing all the landowners in the county that you've selected. Then it's simply a process of making some calls and knocking on some doors. In many areas itwon't evencost ya to get places to hunt. Granted, if you're seeking areas to hunt in some of the nations better known trophy hotspots than it may cost you a bit but for most areas all that's needed is for you to simply ask. Also remember most landowners/farmers would much rather have your help and labor than they would your money anyway. A day spend bailing or mending fence will go a lot farther than a few dollars. You may also have a decent advantage because you are young, most landowners like to support youths. Good luck bud
