Spruce Mountain Lodge in Maine is a great place to bear hunt. I have hunted there myself, and saw many bears. There were 5 of us that went up and all 5 of us had opportunities to take bear. Four of us brought back bear and the 5th guy shot and missed, but had his opportunity. Last year they harvested one bear over 500 pounds and another at 440 pounds.
