One of the bows in my "stable" is a Mathews Q2XL. For me it is the sweetest shooting bow that I have ever owned. That being said I would have to say that I don't see anything earth shakingly new this year from Mathews. Additionally the negative ads are a total turn off. Big marketing mistake IMO to make a comparison that is 10 years old...as far as I was concerned 10 years ago their stuff was very ruff. I felt they hit a home run with their Z-Max and took off from there.

Pesonally, I think they hurt the looks of their bows by making the limb pockets a different color than the rest of the bow. I would say the playing field is gettng more level all the time.

I wouldn't want anyone to think I was bashing them. I do think they make a good product and will probably still want to own a C3 or the LX <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>. But then again I would like a new Merlin, BowTech, Darton, Hoyt, PSE, etc. <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> It is just that when a person blindly follows ANY company your setting yourself up for a let down. <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
