I lost you a little there but if you are shooting with fingers I would not use a prong rest pr drop away. Your fingers can or couldcurl a bit when you draw and roll the string just enough to move it off of the rest. Plus if you are right handed your spine of the arrow will probably allow it to bow to the right, against the riser. I would use a plunger type rest or a very simple stick on flipper type in an adjustable plate that screws into your bow.

Does that make any sense? It is fun and challenging. I sure dont hunt that way though.
