Thanks for the anatomy lesson. I checked out the diagram and its pretty cool. While I am not doubting its effectiveness, I don't think I'm ready for that yet. I was raised as a vitals (heart/lung) shooter, and it has worked for me. I have only had a couple deer get away if hit properly (one when I was young - tragic, likely hit too far back, and the other because of heavy rain, which we unfortunately found later in very thick stuff).

Good stuff to file away though for future scheming on shots.
