I have a two person WALMART blind that has been out for almost two years. It's buriedway back in a mature pine plantation. We piled bamboo stalks against it and you could do the same with corn stalks.

It's holding up great and the deer are more than used to it.

You could always put some rat poison in the tent if you're worried about rodents.
