I would use a cheap prong rest myself. Not only do they work well, but it will teach them to draw smoothely and hold the bow straight. I wouldn't spend the money a WB costs on a kids bow, you could use a flipper rest just as easily at this point.

In my opinion the WB is probably one of the worst rests you could put on a new archers bow. They are not a very forgiving rest.
