in my neck of the woods,it helps 75%.I always love to hunt cutovers.all the new growth makes the deer move in.
any time I find a cut I will go around the outsides,and look for the trails they use to enter and exit.setup and get ready for some good hunting.
they have started cutting 1/3 of the pines in our club.this leaves a lot of open area for the new growth.
