Simply because there are "tons" of deer in an area, even a small area, there are no guarentees of sucess....you'll still have to do everything just right to make the connection. It does sound like the nunbers could stand to be thinned a little. It's not the numbers of deer, or the size of the area hunted, or even if the conditions are perfect........a hunt, any hunt, is only as good as you make it.
