I've got one just like you put on lay-a-way except I found one in stainless/wood.
The breakover is still pretty stiff after having it a couple of years. It's so short, it makes a dang fine home protection weapon and I take it with me to my deer lease in case I run upon a hog with an attitude.
I usually carry it with 2 3/4" buckshot, and that little gun gives your shoulder a pretty good pop. I keep meaning to put a recoil pad on it.
I think you'll really like yours, especially once the action starts to loosen up a little bit.
