43,560 sg. ft. in an acre I missed it by 20 sq. ft. Happens !!!
Yes knowing the acreage helps a lot since thats the way you have to figure weed control, lime, fertilizer and seed.
I use to guess at acreage and then started measuring......like guessing yardage...it doesn't hurt to measure it off once in awhile.
Have fun with the plot and of course you plan to install a few stands around...yes!!!
