RE: WHTS THE BEST TO PLANT?
We can get over 4 feet of height out of our Eagle Seed Roundup Ready Forage Soybeans in a Georgia drought. They produce a larger root system than standard RR varieties and scavenge for moisture down deep. We get over 6' with irrigation or timely rainfall. The RR part eliminates the weeds competing for sunlight and water which is important when available soil moisture is low.It is better to plant early, but with these late maturing soybeans, you can plant up to July 1. We have severalprivate wildlife managersthat tested them in Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama with great successprior to release. We have also developed a Roundup Ready Quail Haven which is the viny climbing type of soybean that looks great.
