I'm no parent, but my dad andI both hunt, but my younger brother decided hunting wasn't for him. My dad didn't mind, he probably would have liked him to at least try it, but to each his own. My brother does love fishing, so he always goes with my dad and I on our fishing trips. I always just extend the invite to my brother to go hunting with me when everI go out(turkey or deer), maybe one day he'll want to give it a try.
