I have looked a a couple of BDC scopes and have not made the jump yet. I am still stuck on either a mil-dot or a ballistic reticle, other than varmint hunting I can not make myself beleive that i will have time, on most occasions, to adust knobs - counting clicks . . .
BDC anything means one anticipates time to range the animal. I figure if I have the time to determine its range, say with a rangefinder,I can spend 2 seconds clicking to the setting for the range. Then, I'll save time sighting by simply putting the crosshairs where I want the impact. I thought you had an Omega with ballistic reticle to sell, did you not like it?
