MostBushnell 3x9x40's have an eye relief of 3.7 on 9 power as you back off of the power - the relief gets greater

Although according to Bushnell they list it as 4" and I guess if you round 3.7 up it is 4....

I have looked a a couple of BDC scopes and have not made the jump yet. I am still stuck on either a mil-dot or a ballistic reticle, other than varmint hunting I can not make myself beleive that i will have time, on most occasions, to adust knobs - counting clicks, - so the mil-dot or the ballstic reticle in the 3200's works really well for me - truth be told -in a hunting situation I do not think I have used any compensation more more than few times... now @ the range that is a different story.
