I wouldn't take the second shot if the deer looked like it was going t obed down.
If the deer stops that close more than likely it is going to bed down right there or very near that area. You take the second shot and miss, or make an even worse shot on the body of the deer, that deer might haul butt out of there and you may never find it.
Follow the rules about waiting time after a shot and you'll find your prize waiting for you.
