I am not the father that JGC referred to but I shot both days with his son and the other young man that he spoke of and I can personally attest to what was said by the "pros" and by those shooting behind us. What was the most disheartening about the entire situation is that some of the comments were directed at us [myself and the 2 boys]. Not all of the comments that were made have been quoted in this thread nor will I post them but they have been given to the person that needed to know what was said and by whom it was said. I find it sad that our "pros" are no different that the so called pros in other athletic orginizations and that others who compete at lower levels are no better in that they would purposely make rude and vulgar comments to 2 young boys who were simply caught in the middle of something that they had absolutely no control over. And on another note, my wife walked the course with me this weekend so that she could be involved in somethig that I love to do but at this point I am not sure that I can convince her that this was an isolated incident and be able to get her back out with me again.
