I wouldn't, here's why. I don't want the deer knowing that a human is the reason for thedisturbance/pain. If you stay put and don't move I think it will bed down muchsooner. You know it's going to be looking back to the area of the originalproblem, you draw for a second shot and it "knows" you're there, and will go further.
The shot originally described would probably be fatal. Of the 17 deer that I've taken with CB (11) and Compound (6), all were fatal shots and no need for a second shot.
