If you can find 7.62x39 check out the CZ 527. Nice light open sights, Great hunting rifle. I have a slightly different brand, but basically the same rifle.
cheap plinking ammo plus Remington, winchester, federal and Corbon all load a nice softpoint bullet for hunting.
