The collar really wouldn't come into play with me. If it was a buck that I would shoot without the collar then I would shoot it with the collar. I do not shoot immature deer. If bow season rolls around and this guy is supporting some serious headgear then I wouldn't think twice... Shoot him. Just my .02. Just because the deer is in a CWD zone and has a collar on doesn't mean he is infected. If you shot a deer without a necklace you would be taking the same risk.
