sory I did not know they shot on K Sunday. I tried to stick up for them. I have shot for years with them and I know that their are some like you are talking about but the greater% of the Pro's are not like that. It is some of the shooters that have to grow up like we all did. This should show every one that to get to the top is nice but you need to be real and humble. Pro's are just like us all not the best example all the time but at least each of us only have a few that look at us. How would you like it if every one was watching you all the time? Think about the threads then.how would they be?
Please, please do not get me wrong - I fully understand that the very (thankfully VERY VERY) few so-called "Pros" give the rest a bad name - (and the guy I spoke of with the ugly mouth, I honestly do not know if he was a 'pro' or just someone trying to show off to all of them as they walked through - However, I bet OU would want their hat off his head with the image he was projecting)...
Over the past three years, I have been very involved in the children's programs of both organizations - and have personally witnessed hundreds of hours of "greatness" of these Pros giving back to the children and the 'average joes' and never once did any of those persons disgrace the title they have (in my opinion) earned of "Pro"... One night, just recently, I watched as Jackie Caudle spent over an hour atour campsitesworking with a child who had a horribly set up bow - and made the kid feel like he was the most important shooter around. Everyone from all different bow companies and Pro classes have stepped up to the plate gracefully - ... but I do think that we, as the public, do hold these guys to a higher standard - whether that be the 'fair' thing to do or not - but thankfully, the 99% of them respect that standard and go extra miles to be a positive influence in the archery community.
Personally, I appreciate (and I had a long list of individual pros here that I've since erased because I dont' want to leave anyone off) the Pros that hold that title in the true sense of the word - and those who do not - i'm a big believer in Karma
