You are going to get every response under the sun on this one, most of them are either from the owner themselves, or the ol' reliable, "my buddies friend from work has one and doesn't like it", etc.,etc..

I just bought the Firestorm a few months ago, and after shooting every good bow on the market, including the high dollar Mathews, I preferred the PSE. The remark about it being heavy is not accurate, as it weighs 3.6 lbs. bare bones, which is less than virtually all of the Mathews with the exception of a few (FX, MQ 32, Black Max), and those are only lighter by 1-3 oz..

Obviously different strokes for different folks. Go to the shop and shoot every bow you can get your hands on, and then make a decision. I know I am just as guilty as the rest when it comes to having some preconceived notions about certain bows before i even get into the shop, based on nothing more than rumors.

I am by no means a bow expert, just a fella who likes to shoot and found a good bow that fits me perfectly.
