Default RE: MMP Orange Sabots with .458 Bullets

I also discovered that about the Barnes and Nosler I have shot.. they like a powder charge behind them for some reason. Granted they will shoot fine with 80 grains, but they really shine with 110+ grains behind them. My Knight Disc really likes the powder if you want accuracy. For the longest time that Knight would shoot pretty good, but not as good as I wanted. Then one day I stuck three pellets in it and shot some shockwaves. WOW!! what a difference. At 70 yards I thought I lost one shot. All I could figure was the hole was the same.

I shot some 300 grain Nosler that I am sure were .458that Sabotloader recommended. While they shot really good, I hated paying almost a dollar a pop for them. I guess I am too frugal. So now I shoot my home casted ones. While they are not pretty, they are accurate and really smack down range.
