Could you imagine shooting a 250 300 lb hog from the ground and hiting the shield .That might get him excited I bet I'd find a tree real quick and climd like a squirl . Hed prodably have fun with your bow while you watched . I've shot alot of 100 150 lb hogs and their sheild was minamal but the 180 lber I shot had some serious shields .
