mike...The 25-06 has been around a long time and very accurate and flat shooting. Recoil will be less than the .270 WSM,why burn more powder than you need? I looked at the new "short-fat" mags and I'll stay with regular ones if I want a mag...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
