Default RE: Swimming Senko???

Fished them finally this weekend.

Yesterday I didnt get a bite on it in an hour (fished a watermelon color dusted with red), but only caught3 fishin 4 hours, so the bite was a little slow.

Went out today and switched to a different color (Black w/ blue). Got to the water and noticed some bass on the surface so rigged up a torpedo and caught 2 quick 2 pounders and the action slowed off.

Pulled the swimmin senko back out and rigged it up weightless.Stared throwing along the weed breaks and nabbed 6in an hour and a half. Biggest was 3 lbs. Tried some tubes and worms Texas style and only caught one fish the remaining hour.

My Verdict: Not a miracle lure, but a solid lure under certain conditions. The bass were shallow today, where yesterday all fish caught were in deep water. I will continue to play with this lure with different presentations and rigging options to fine tune my approach with it.

*EDIT*....I tried fishing these with a 2/0 wide gap hook and it seemed to just make the senko swirl in the water..a 5/0 is a must to keep these lures well balanced and swimming the correct way.
