Bob, the holder doesn't even necessarily need to be there. Some guys will moleskin the arrow shelf and just let it sit wherever. Especially on some rests that have a slanted shelf along the arrow shelf. Whenever the rest lifts the arrow natually falls into the groove and its tuned and centered position.
