After 30 years of shooting compound, I am finally going to do something I've always wanted to try, buying a second-hand recurve and learning to shoot instinctive. I think I want a 45-50#, 58-60" model, but was a little overwhelmed by the offerings on Ebay. I know there were many good bows from Wing, Shakespeare, Bear, and Pearson, but having shot none of them, what is the concensus best for a beginner? I'd like to keep it under $150 and I'll probably shoot off the shelf. Also, any tips on what to steer clear of would be appreciated.
