I chose Ladder stand because that is what I use the most, But I also use climbing sticks almost as much. IMHO if you are leaving your stands on the property you hunt and you feel they will be safe there then either a hang-on stand with climbing sticks and or ladder stands are the way to go. The ladder stands I own are not expensive at all. They each cost about $70 but are very comfortable. Comfortable enough to sit in all day long if need be.
