tsoc, great post. That is exactly the way I was brought up and the way it is in my current area. Yes, landowners have rights and no trespassing laws should be respected. But so should common decency and respect for your fellow human being. It doesn't mean letting lazy slob hunters trespass on your land but it does mean not getting freaked out when a hunter shoots a deer he didn't anticipate would go 20 yards onto your land and decides he is going to grab the deer without damaging any part of your property and be off of it in minutes.
