Given the fact you have the 10/22 and the aftermarket options are endless, do you still think the Thompson .22, is an upgrade over what you have. Going to purchase one of these two rifles myself this month and I can't make up my mind. I favor the Thompson over the Ruger but not sure if this is the right choice you can always find replacement/upgrades for the Ruger almost anyplace you look. On the other hand the T/C feels and fits better and is built with what appears to be better quality control. Anyone shooting this rifle care to put .02 in. steve
