Dan: Sorry to hear the problem persists. Have you tried to put the original string and cables back on? When you are getting a tear, it seems like it is in a vertical, rather than horizontal direction. Is that accurate? If so, it does not seem like it could be anything like cam lean. I also agree that if it tuned before, it does not sound like arrows or limb twist could suddenly be a problem. Is the ATA and brace correct according to specs? Could the problem be something a simple as thicker serving and a tight nock fit on the replacement string? Other issues? What rest was on it before? Did you put any twists into the down cable if you are hooking your drop away to the down cable? I know, grasping at straws, but I'm still hoping you can get on here and say, "Hey, it was this, and now everything is OK."
