I like the rattling idea. That can at least be a real fun way to bag a deer together. Also, who says that you would be doing everything for him. My father and I usually take at least one or two days during gun season and hunt side by side. Flip a coin for who gets the first shot, its a blast. Plus you have two sets of eyes watchin the same amount of area - that helps! Otherwise, videotaping is always good and can be just as rewarding for both people.
