beprepen, I'm not familiar with Sky's advertising, or even their newer bows for that matter, but if they don't say they're shooting to an AMO standard or even calling it an IBO rating, then you have to take that advertised speed with a grain or two of salt. Most times I've seen speeds over 200 fps advertised for recurves, they're shooting carbons out of 'em at around 8 grains per pound.

Arthur, I'll look into it some more. But what about the forgiveness issue? Is there a large range in forgiveness between recurve bows?
