Default RE: Allegiance Issues...

I've actually had strings from one of the best string makers in the country defective out of the package. I spent a weekend trying to tune my personal bow with a new stringand finally resolved to putting the old string back on. The bow went immediately back to tune.

I grabbed another string from the same newbatch and it tuned immediately. I sent the first new string back to the manufacturer. They tore it down and couldn't find anything wrong with it. It was somehow bad, but definitely not visibly bad to the 'human eye.'

We've also had a 'set' of cables that were not exactly the same cause tuning problems. We've seen strings that were damaged during installation. We've seen 'unbalanced' strings cause problems.

And I'm sure we haven't seen it all.
