I'm in the same boat..sorta...I'm right handed, my left eye is dominant and my right eye sucks...I also have an injury..years ago I shot lefty..I should be shooting lefty (and shot quite well), but I have to go down in weight to do so...I've been playing with lefties on and off again for the past 3 years.

would probably IBO (250 grain arrow) in the 300-310 Range...Even with that extremely light arrow and assuming 305 FPS you'd still be putting out 51 pounds of KE. And with a heavier arrow obviously that number would go up. At 6 grains per LB (300 grain arrow) you'd be looking at appx 280 FPS for an initial KE value of about 53 foot pounds.At any rate plenty of KE for great penetration on whitetails with a fixed blade head. I'd be leery of using mechs at that low draw weight, but I do know some folks who do.
