well im going out to colorado this year for elk with the bow and i dont know if i should take (my) fred bear element set at 55 lbs or my cousins Mathews switchback xt set at 65 i can both pull them back pretty easily but the switchbakc is a little more difficult in my opinion i think i should tkae the XT becuase it has more of a chance killing an elk even if i put an "ok" shot on it with the element i would think to have to put a perfect shot on the elk to kill it
you have to take them both, but I can't stress enough how important the shot placement is. Pay particular attention to which bow you are shooting better.
