I agree with Stubblejumper. If you shoot all equally well, why not take the one with the most power and range just in case you need it. Shots are USUALLY 50-60 yds. But what if you see a monster beaqr at 250yds.
Is this a guided hunt where your guide will be the one following a wounded bear into the thick stuff? If so he should have the right gun for that job. If you may have to do it, the 12 ga. slug gun might be handy.
