Well not that I ever put much effort into it but I finally found some sheds this year. The 1st I found was a set lying within 3yds of each other and boy was it a good one.
My parents had been seeing this one on their farm in february for about 2 weeks straight. They told me it was a big one. Even with my dad having a high dollar spotting scope and binoculars in the dining room i can not quite trust his judgement yet. Three years ago he said he was seeing a average 6pt. When my friend killed it it turned out to be a 12pt scoring in the 140's, small 6pt, right Dad. Anyway I dont hunt the this particular farm much because its hard to get back their without the deer knowing your their but I think I might have try something this fall. I found these the 1st day of turkey season right where he had been seeing the buck. With a average spread of 17" (itlooks like it could have been around 18") the rack would have score 148 6/8" as an 8pt.
